A white house with black accents, well, it's my dream house and always has been. So bringing flowers to Hailey and John at Westglow felt a little bit like home. Hailey dreamed of peonies, hydrangea and babies breath tucked tightly, and that is what we did!

This spring started out with a lovely punch of color! It's always welcome after a long winter in the mountains. I wish you could smell these flowers. It was mother's day -- the hight of peony season -- and each of them was gathered from several regional farms by me! These are some of the most fun, emotion-filled images I've seen! I've learned a lot from Sarah. Big things like — "You have to dream big, and then go to work with what's in front of you" — and little things like wrapping bouquets at the wedding site because it keeps the ribbons dry. Both of these things are very important.
Wrapping bouquets on site gives me an opportunity to deliver the bouquet to the bride. This is the best part of my job. She has just spent all morning getting ready — her makeup is done, her dress is on, her veil is perfectly positioned — then I hand her her bouquet. She smiles, examining each flower and all the little details, and I realize she is fully present. She is enjoying what God has made for her that day, and she has just fallen in love with flowers. My work is done.
